Excellent driver, great accomodations

We traveled as a group of six on the private trip, and we all unanimously agreed that we had a fantastic time. We are especially pleased and fortunate to have Lhoucine as our driver. He was not only a cautious and skilled driver, but he also has a nice, polite, and really helpful demeanor. He consistently went above and above for us, and we felt warm and welcome in his company. We had undoubtedly formed a strong bond with Lhoucine over the course of four days. Furthermore, the liaison officer Hassan was highly responsive, responding to concerns quickly and providing frequent information. Finally, for a “normal tour,” the accommodations supplied were excellent, particularly our final night at Kasbah Didis, which was breathtaking. It’s a shame we had bad weather on our first night in Sahara; else, it would have been a fantastic experience. Also, keep in mind that the breakfast and supper menus are fairly repetitious, yet they are nothing short of classic and authentic Moroccan cuisine.

4 days 3 nights tour

We took our 11-year-old kid on a 4-day, 3-night tour to the Merzouga desert. Contacting Ali was simple, and he responded swiftly; he picked us up at one riad and dropped us off at another. I’ve read about cheaper trips conducting their camel rides from Merzouga itself, missing out on going up a high dune, only being inside the desert, another camp between them and the sunset… We had the camp to ourselves, our son played in the little dunes (berber skiing), an evening camel ride with a hike up a high dune to see the sun set. a wonderful meal with a fire to sit around, and a morning ride in the opposite way (definitely worth getting up for the amazing colours). For much of the ride, the scenery is magnificent, and there are some nice stops along the route, such as Ait Ben Hadou, however the Amerhidil Kasbah was even better because there weren’t as many visitors, and the guide was fantastic. We saw so much and had an incredible experience that we will never forget.

Amazing experience!

We had a fantastic day with Desert Merzouga Tours. Prior to departure, communication with Hassan was rapid and efficient. We opted to take a four-day private tour from Marrakech to the desert. We stopped at Ouarzazate the first night, slept in a nice tent in the desert, and then slept in Boumalne Dades on the way back. We preferred it this way so we wouldn’t have to spend as much time in the car on the way back. Lhoucine was our tour leader; he was always cheerful and punctual (unlike us :). He taught us a lot about history and culture, and we had a great time. He even assisted us in bargaining on rugs! We couldn’t have asked for a more knowledgeable tour leader. This tour was without a doubt the highlight of our trip to Morocco! If we return, we would take a different route with Desert Merzouga Tours.

— Lhoucine, we hope you are well, and we apologize for the delay in posting this:D Regards, Portugal!
