We are a local travel agency from the Moroccan Sahara, passionate about sharing the landscapes, culture and people of our country with the world.

Our story

Who We Are

Desert Merzouga Tours is more than a travel agency. We are a group of young Moroccans who love our country and our land, and who decided to share it the way we know it: its landscapes and wildlife, its food, its tribes and traditions, and the small adventures you only find with people who live here.

We design and operate every route ourselves. Because we work without intermediaries, with our own team and our own vehicles, we can stand behind every detail of your journey, from the driver who meets you at the airport to the tent waiting for you in the dunes.

Travelling with us does not feel like joining an organised tour. You are a guest, not a tourist: free to stop, to change the plan, to stay longer where you are happy, with a guide beside you to solve any problem on the spot.

On the road

Your Driver and Your Vehicle

On a Morocco tour you spend many hours on the road, so the person behind the wheel matters as much as the itinerary. Our drivers are natives of the Sahara who have driven these routes for years: the hairpins of the Tizi n'Tichka, the desert tracks around Merzouga and the busy streets of the imperial cities.

They are also your guide and your local friend, the one who knows where to stop for the best view, the cleanest café and the freshest bread, and who is always at your side if you need anything.
